"Wandering through Rebecca Warren's Serpentine Gallery show is a pleasurable experience, until you find yourself among the dead. The title says it all: We Are Dead. Here are a bunch of grey clay lumps, paint daubed here and there into their gnarly surfaces, like the mould on funerary statues in overgrown cemeteries. I start to see faces and limbs, an ear, a mouth, a fist or a breast - but the human clay seems to be reverting to mud. This dumb assembly might be waiting for something, on their closely grouped plinths: I just hope it isn't me."

Gerhard Richter, 'the grandaddy of contemporary painting', is being celebrated at the National Portrait Gallery in the first major exhibition of his portrait paintings. His hyperreal figures, derived from photographs, subtly skew the photorealist tradition and alongside his seductive abstract paintings, arguably make him the world's most influential living artist. Thirty-five key works are to go on show from 26th February, including a portrait of Richter's daughter Ella, which is to be exhibited for the first time.

La Tate Britain, artistul Martin Creed a pus 50 de atleti sa alerge prin galeriile muzeului.
La fiecare 30 de secunde un atlet alearga prin galeriile cladirii, respiratia lui scurta si umeda agitand aerul uscat al muzeului. Sunt alergatorii care au fost recrutati pentru performance-ul lui Martin Creed, "Lucrarea nr. 850", "expusa" zilele acestea la Tate Britain – informeaza The Guardian

Localizarea pe harta a apei de la robinet ( apa de robinet in Londra este reciclata in mare parte) creaza teritorii separate in interiorul orasului. Ar putea fi considerate aceste arii drept analogul biologic al unor comunitati delimitate cultural (social, identitar)?
