While gentrification in New York City and the politics of cleansing tend to erase legendary traces of graffiti that inspired artists all over the world, street art flourishes in Eastern European cities. One of these spots is Romania. New York is lucky to have three artists from this former East Block country visiting to paint the walls of the Romanian cultural institute.
